The Poultry Health Science course, a cooperation between Royal GD and Utrecht University, gives you in-depth knowledge on poultry health. Subjects are for example: diagnostics, evidence-based medicine, disease management, animal welfare and food safety.

Starting April 17th: Module 7 Coccidiosis with lecturer Christiaan ter Veen.

One of the most important intestinal diseases, mostly affecting juvenile poultry, is coccidiosis. In this module we will give you an overview on life cycles, taxonomy, pathogenesis, transmission and epidemiology, infections, diagnostic aspects and prophylactic and therapeutic options for control and vaccines.
