11/7/2022:
The international Eurotier trade show sets the stage for innovative ideas in livestock farming to come together from all over the world. Logical therefore that Royal GD will be attending. The business development team, led by Wim Kieftenbeld, will be on hand to answer any questions about animal health programmes and the innovative VIR check. “The Eurotier is the perfect opportunity to meet people. They are there looking for solutions to a problem.''
GD is not only about immediate and acute problems, Kieftenbeld assures us. “It’s not always a case of jumping into action, but rather providing solutions which contribute to improving the health situation at a farm.” All kinds of health programmes have been developed for that purpose. Programmes which have been successfully rolled out internationally.
Kieftenbeld generally receives questions regarding issues too extensive for a short-term solution. “For example, large integrations looking for solutions for salmonella problems. The trade show is the ideal opportunity to initiate such a process. Later on, we contact them to make more concrete plans. It all starts with an intake, in which we provide specific advice. These are often long-term processes.”
The team is also at the show to introduce smart solutions in livestock farming. The VIR check for example, a relatively cheap test which provides broiler farms with information on the viral risk in the house. “When applied effectively, you can earn tens of thousands of euros more per year.”
The business development team is looking forward to discussing it at the Eurotier, from 15 through 18 November in Hannover. Will you be there?
